PURPOSE:To suppress the deformation of container and increase asafety and reliability by installing a rib which extends in a height direction in the inside wall of the short side of a container, and installing projections which intersect to the rub in a higher position than the height of a plate group of the outside wall of the short side of the container. CONSTITUTION:A cover 2 is fixed to a container 1, and a recess 4 is formed in the outside wall 3 of the short side of the container 1. A part 3b of the outside wall of the container is formed so that its difference in level is lower than a part 3a and its difference in level is higher than the recess 4. A rib 5 is installed so as to extend in a height direction in the inside wall of the short side of the container 1. Projections 6 is formed together with the part 3b and recess 4 so as to intersect to the rib 5 in a higher position than the height of a plate group of the outside wall of the short side of the container. The projections 6 are formed so as to have the same height as the part 3a. Thereby, the deformation of the container is suppressed, and the safety and reliability of the battery are increased. |
