The invention relates to a device for closing and opening a space making it possible to leave the entirety of this space available when the device is in the opening position. According to Figure 1, each element consists of high profiles 1, 2, 3 and of low profiles 4, 5, 6 into which are fastened panels 7, 8, 9. When the user slides the first element, the latter slides and nests into the following one which, in turn, is accompanied by the preceding one, slides and nests into a final element. The rotation of the latter is made possible by notches 12 and 13 in the high and low rails 10 and 11, then ensured by return devices 16 and 17 turning on two pins 18 and 19, thus leaving the entirety of the space available. The device is intended for closing and opening wall cupboards, storage cupboards, doors, shutters, glazed windows, French windows. <IMAGE>
