The device for extracting gaseous media, which has a vacuum source, consists of pipe sections (2 and 3) which are connected to the pipe connection (1) of the vacuum source and to one another by joints (7, 8). Each joint is formed by two 90 DEG pipe bends (9, 11) which are preferably connected to one another by a rotatable ring (10). These pipe bends are smooth and, at the same time, form the bearing elements in the region of the joints. By this means a simple and compact construction is possible and, in particular, the flow losses are very much lower compared with conventionally used rough hoses, which are also not self-supporting (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
