The invention relates to a vehicle floor with a web-shaped plastic covering in which a raisable floor flap which also has a web-shaped plastic covering is arranged, a preferably oblique joint between vehicle floor and floor flap being sealed by means of a sealing cord which is inserted into a peripheral groove of the floor flap. In order to achieve a particularly simple design of the floor flap with simultaneous satisfactory sealing, it is provided according to the invention for the plastic covering of the floor flap to be pulled from the top over the side face down as far as the underside of the floor flap, thus covering the sealing cord, and to be drawn onto the floor flap by means of a vacuum drawing process.
