Sound track system for cinema film - has sound and pictures at same point with sound pick=up including delay system to synchronise reproduction

The technique for recording and reproducing a cinema film sound track enables the sound and picture to be recorded at the same point along the film, without the usual separation between them. Before the film reaches the point of entry to the projector gate, it passes through the sound pickup head. The sound pickup head includes a delay system, such that the sound picked up from the film is nop broadcast until the corresponding piece of film is in the projection slot.
