<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording and reproducing device having a high safety against the damage of a tape by separating the tape, when dewing is detected, from a rotating head and controlling a tape travelling means to cease its operation. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 46, when the detection of dew is inputted, controls a motor driving circuit 44 for the driving of a tape drawing post, and drives a tape drawing post driving motor 37, and drives a tape drawing mechanism constituted with a tape drawing post driving belt 36 and the tape drawing post driving motor 37, and moves a tape drawing post 35 in arrow head B direction. At the same time, the sagging of the tape generated by the movement of the drawing post 35 is prevented in such a way that a reel motor driving circuit 48 is controlled by the control circuit 46, and a reel motor 41 is driven and an idler 42 is rotated and a supplying reel 32 is rotated in arrow head A direction. At the completion of the above operation, the operation of the tape drawing motor 37, the reel motor 41 and each mechanism driving part is prohibited by the control circuit 46 until the finish of the dry of a mechanism chassis 30.</p> |
