In a method and a device for producing multi-colour prints, in particular a flexographic method, a very high degree of precision is to be achieved, in particular as concerns the congruency of the prints in the different colours so that the quality of the later printed image is particularly high, the intention being to simplify handling at the same time. This is achieved in that a mounting film (7) is attached to a forme cylinder (1) by means of a mounting strip (5), the mounting film (7) is provided with the printing blocks (9) and, after fitting them into and pressing them onto a back pressure cylinder, the blocks (9) are permanently connected to the mounting film (7), the mounting strip (5) being equipped with a number of elongate-hole pins (6) on its outwardly facing surface and the mounting film (7) being equipped with a corresponding perforation (8). <IMAGE>
