PURPOSE:To make pentahedral machining performable with one time setting, by installing two table moving horizontally orthogonalized with each other, and also two rotary tables indexible centering on a vertical shaft and a horizontal shaft on the second table. CONSTITUTION:A first table capable of moving horizontally toward a spindle is installed on a bed 10 of a body 1 and a second table 15 capable of moving horizontally as orthogonalized on the top is installed, respectively, and further a first rotary table 16 being indexed centering a vertical rotary shaft RO is installed on the top while a second rotary table 19 being indexed centering on a horizontal rotary shaft QO is installed in the sidepiece 18 of an extension part 17. With an automatic work changer, a work W is fed to a chuck of the second rotary table 19 from a work feeding device and set to the chuck. All motions are controlled by a program of a numerical control system, and owing to work of these four tables, all surfaces are machinable. |
