PURPOSE:To make it possible to recognize the extent of an original that can be copied with an automatic original feeding device closed by indicating the extent that can be copied by a pointer basing on the original setting reference of the automatic original feeding device. CONSTITUTION:Original setting references 63n, 63m provided with a fixed scale similarly with an original platen are provided in the original receiving section 63a of an automatic original feeding device 61. A carriage 134 provided with a scale 147 in the lower part of the receiving section 63a and a pointer of the carriage 134 move in two directions at right angles to each other according the set variable magnification and the size of copying paper. Basing on the pointer 146 and scale 63n, it is possible to recognize the extent that can be copied with the original stand closed without looking the original platen opening the original feeding device. Thus, occurrence of mistake in copying can be prevented. |
