PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device and to reduce a cost by fitting a semiconductor laser, a polarizer, a magneto-optical element, a permanent magnet giving a magnetic field to said element, and an analyzer in the same package. CONSTITUTION:The permanent magnet 26, analyzer 29, magneto-optical element 28 and polarizer 27 are stuck individually. The output of the semiconductor laser 33 is linear-polarized by the polarizer 27 and outputted from a window 31 to the outside through the element 28 and analyzer 29. All of said components are hermetically sealed in a package member 24. the semiconductor laser 33 and an optical isolator are built-in the same package in such a way, and the device can be scaled down and the cost can be reduced. |
