PURPOSE:To raise the reliability and safety of an internal combustion engine in operation, by always indicating the quantity of lubricating oil in an oil reservoir, on a control panel through a detector, and automatically feeding the oil from a lubricating oil tank for supply into the oil reservoir, on the other hand, making it possible to indicate the occurrence of engine trouble caused by leakageof the oil. CONSTITUTION:While an engine 1 is operated with a proper quantity of lubricating oil, the level of the oil surface at the stationary temperature, is detected by an oil level detector 4, and this detected result is stored in a storage device of a control panel 18, by pushing a proper oil level set button 14. Next, the average of the lubricating oil level in an oil reservoir is always measured at preset intervals of time, and a solenoid operated opening/closing valve 5 is opened when the oil level is lowered, that is, said average of the oil level becomes lower than the preset degree. Accordingly, lubricating oil in a lubricating oil tank 2 for supply, is fed to the oil reservoir, as processing the signal of a flow meter 6. Said control panel 18 is also equipped with a make-up oil flow indicator 10, a make-up oil alarm buzzer 12, a lubricating oil consumption rate indicator 13, an improperness alarm lamp 15 for quantity of lubricating oil in the engine, and others, and all of these parts are used to check the condition of the lubricating oil. |
