摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of tool data in a tool data controller used for a machining center or the like by registering and memorizing the tool data such as tool length, tool diameter, tool offset amount, etc. in the tool itself. CONSTITUTION:In the beginning of operation of a controller, since a data memory unit 10 of a tool shank in a tool interchanging position is opposed to a data input/output unit 20, coils 23, 12 of the data input/output unit 20 and data memory unit 10 are electromagnetically coupled with each other. Thus, the signal of power supply frequency is transmitted to a power supply unit 19 to supply power to each unit. Data thus memorized in RAN 16 is FSK modulated through CPU 14 by a modulation high frequency amplifier 18 and transmitted to the data input unit 20 through the coil 12. The data input unit 20 demodulates this signal by a demodulator 28 and transmits it to CPU 30 which transfers these data to a controller of a machine tool through an interface 33 to judge the necessity for data change.</p>
