GAS RETURN PIPING FOR LOW TEMPERATURE LIQUEFIED GAS BASE

PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature dropping of a return pipe caused by gas convection and heat conductive through piping by constituting a gas return pipe so that gas may enter the connected part of the gas return pipe to piping on a reservoir side at its upper part. CONSTITUTION:The supplying pipe 5 of a boil-off gas (BOG) compressor 4 is branched to connect with a return pipe 6 whose other end is connected to a BOG pipe 7. The connected part 8 of the return pipe 6 to the BOG pipe 7 on a reservoir side is connected to the pipe 7 on its upper side, and since the low temperature BOG in the pipe 7 is lower in temperature and heavier in specific weight than the BOG in the return pipe 6, gas convection does not cause the lower temperature BOG to flow into the return pipe 6. Thus the temperature dropping of the return pipe can be prevented.
