1. A procedure for creating for a catalyst reactor, a supporting matrix with any pre-determinable sectional area, for the purpose of purifying the exhaust gases of internal-combustion engines, there being a least one metal conveyer belt, streamlined in its cross-direction, from which the supporting matrix is coiled, the supporting matrix being enclosed by a casing, and characterized in that during the coiling procedure, guiding devices (18) are placed between adjacent coiled positions after every coiled position (22) of the conveyer belt (16) and over the outer coiled position, the guiding devices resting on a pre-determined plane and forming the guiding devices of the conveyer belt (16), in such a way that after the coiling process, the guiding devices (18) may be removed from the supporting matrix (15) and the supporting matrix (15) may be inserted into the casing, by deformation, the casing having the final shape of the supporting matrix (15). |
