The d-a converter, for measuring systems and displays with digital beam deflection, has a unit for summing the normal variables. It is connected to the multiple output of a second unit with switches. A folding unit for Fibonacci-p-codes is connected by its multiple output to the multiple input of the second unit. The folding unit contains a series of type function cells for folding pairs of adjacent positions in the Fibonacci-p-code into the next position.
