发明名称 PRODUCTION OF PYRIDYLALKYLAMINOPOLYCARBOXYLIC ACID TYPE CHELATE RESIN
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled chelate resin, useful for adsorbing heavy metal, and having improved adsorption capacity and selectivity, by reacting a resin having 2-[2-(2-pyridyl)-ethylamino]ethylamino groups with a specific amount of a monohalogenoacetic acid salt. CONSTITUTION:A gel type copolymer consisting of styrene and 2wt% divinylbenzene is chloromethylated to give a chloromethylated polystyrene resin, which is then reacted with an N-[2-(2-pyridyl)-ethyl]-ethylenediamine expressed by formula I in a solvent, e.g. dioxane, to afford a resin having the 2-[2-(2-pyridyl)- ethylamino]-ethylamino groups. A monohalogenoacetic acid salt in an amount of 1g atom or more based on one gram atom amino nitrogen atom in the substituent group in the resultant resin is reacted with the resin to afford the aimed resin having the N,N'-bis (carboxymethyl) substituted 2-[(2-pyridyl)-ethylamino]- ethylamino groups.
