<p>PURPOSE:To surely feed sheets, by providing a sheet feed means for separating one of stacked sheets therefrom and conveying the same. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid 44 is attracted in association with a paper feed signal. A lever 38 is turned leftward so that a pawl 38b is separated from a control ring 37a in a spring clutch 37, and power is transmitted to initiate the rotation of a shaft 34. A cam plate 36 having pushed down a paper loading bed 9 separates from a cam follower 41a, and therefore, the paper loading bed 9 is pressed onto a paper feed roller 8 by the force of a spring 43. Thereafter the solenoid 44 is turned off to prevent the feed roller 8 from rotating and to wait for sheets on the loading bed to be surely pressed onto the feed roller 8. Then the solenoid 44 is again turned on so that the pawl 38a is separated from a spring clutch 35 while the pawl 38b is separated from a control ring 37b in the spring clutch 35 so that an image transfer member P which is rotated integrally with the shaft 34 is fed out toward a resist roller.</p> |
