PURPOSE:To exactly bond an ornament to a given position of a base material by a method in which in a process of bonding a soft ornament along a secondary curved face, the shape of ornament is kept to the curved face of the base material by vacuum-suction at the same time as the position is determined, and the ornament is closely bonded to the base material coated with an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:An ornament 3 cut into a given shape is set on the surface of a tool 7, and the air in a container is sucked through a suction hole 8. Hereupon, the ornament 3 is exactly adhered to the uneven three-dimensional curved face of the tool 7 and the shape along the curved face of the ornament 3 is kept. When the base material 1 whose given place to be bonded with the ornament 3 is coated with an adhesive is lowered along a guide 10, the peripheral side of the material 1 collides with a plate 9 to push the plate 9 down by the stroke S while compressing a spring 11. The ornament 3 can thus be exactly closely bonded to the surface of the base material 1. |
