PURPOSE:To facilitate finishing in a production stage and the control of yarn count in a packing stage by forming color plated films having different colors for each count on the surfaces of metallic travelers by electrodeposition. CONSTITUTION:Color plated films 2 having different colors such as red, blue, gold, green, black and brown for each count are formed on the surfaces of horizontal metallic travelers 1 made of a hard steel wire rod or an alloy steel wire by electrodeposition after Ni plating is carried out on the surfaces of the travelers 1 as required. Thus, superior corrosion resistance including acid and alkali resistances is provided, the control of production and stock of products is facilitated and the occurrence of trouble by the simultaneous use of travelers in a spinning mill is prevented. |
