PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to improve operability by using a switch means for setting and operating a focus area in an auto focus mode as a switch for directly controlling a focus motor in a manual focus mode. CONSTITUTION:In the manual focus mode, the changeover switch 11 becomes closed and its output comes to a level L. Accordingly, the outputs of AND circuits 7, 10, 42, 44 and 46 come to the level L, and the switch means 2 is inhibited from setting and operating the focus area. Simultaneously a control signal from a focus motor control circuit 37 is also inhibited from passing. On the other hand, the outputs of switches 3 and 4 are outputted from the AND circuits 41 and 43 in an interrupted state in the auto focus mode as they are, because the inversion output of the changeover switch 11 comes to a level H. Consequently, while the pressure operation of the switch 3 continues, the output of a NOR circuit 45 comes to the level L, and a focus motor 38 rotates normally. In the same manner, while the pressure operation of the reversely rotating switch 4 continues, the motor rotates reversely. |
