PURPOSE:To make it possible to efficiently perform a copying process, by setting one or more bundles of original copies in one original copy loading section, and by enabling process steps required for the respective bundles of original copies, to be continuously and automatically carried out. CONSTITUTION:When a weight member 40 descends by an electromagnetic device energized by a copy initiation signal, loaded original copy sheets are held while a half-moon roller 2 and an one-sheet separating and conveying mechanism S are started to be driven so that the lowermost one of the sheets on a loading tray 1 is alone separated and conveyed and is introduced into a first sheet pass (a). The sheet having entered into the first sheet path (a) is detected at the leading end thereof by a second sheet sensor S2 when it passes by the sensor S2 on the way, and then abuts against and is received by the nip section of a pair of feed rollers 18, 19 which stop their rotation at that time. The feed rollers 18, 19 are normally rotated after a predetermined timer set time elapses from the time of detection of the leading end of the sheet by the second sheet sensor S2. |
