CONTINUOUS MANUFACTURING DEVICE FOR HEAT-SHRINK RESIN TUBE

PURPOSE:To manufacture a radially expandible heat-shrink resin tube of high accuracy by providing a noncontact danser position sensor to detect the loosening of a raw resin pipe, a speed setter to match and adjust the speeds of a takeover drive motor and a sending-out capstan drive motor, and a control valve to control the speed of jetting and flowing heating liquid. CONSTITUTION:A resin tube 6 sent out from a sending bobbin 1 is interrupted for its tension by a pinchroller type sending capstan 16 and sent only under its empty weight to an inclined groove 32 at the same running speed as that of the guide sleeve 7. The tube 6 is then run while being heated and floated by a heating liquid 31 jetting from a heating liquid jet-flow nozzle 30 under a very low tension. The empty weight corresponding to the loosening in noncontact danser is cancelled by jet flow of the liquid 31 from the nozzle 30 at the same speed. The raw resin pipe heated in a jelly state can thus be continuously sent to a molding section where it is expanded and molded only to the radial direction within a 5% axial elongation range.
