PURPOSE:To properly shape a waveform even if the amplitude of a signal fluctuates by modifying the clamped phase of a serial packet signal from a burst signal part into a clamped part and permitting a comparator circuit to shape the output with the clamped potential as a reference one. CONSTITUTION:In terms of a buffer amplifier 2 inputting the serial packet signal 1 which is band-limited in order to prevent the waveform of a transmission line from being distorted, its output impedance is made lower to prevent the waveform from being distorted when the next-staged switch circuit 4 turns ON. A capacitor 3 generates a DC component by keying clamp. The switch circuit 4 is turned ON only at the clock run part of the serial packet signal, and grounded through a resistance 9. The 2nd buffer amplifier 5 attains a high input impedance so that a clamped potential held in a capacitor 3 is maintained. On the basis of a reference voltage GND, a comparator circuit 7 comparates the output of the buffer amplifier 5 with the central potential of the serial packet signal as a reference, thereby obtaining an output 8 whose waveform is shaped. |
