PURPOSE:To obtain a polyamide resin compsn. having excellent impact resistance and thermal stability, by blending a polyamide, a resin obtd. by grafting an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid onto a polyolefin mainly composed of ethylene or propylene and a metal salt. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. consists of 100pts.wt. polyamide resin (a), 1-150 pts.wt. modified polyolefin resin (b) obtd. by grafting 0.05-1.5pts.wt. alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative onto a polyolefin mainly composed of ethylene or propylene and 0.01-2pts.wt. component (c) selected from among metal salts of phosphoric acid, phosphorous acid and hypophosphorous acid. Preferred examples of the polyolefin are polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene/ propylene copolymer and ethylene/butene-1 copolymer, because the alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid is easily grafted onto them. |
