<p>The process consists of (a) applying a self-crosslinking adhesive over a resilient material, e.g. textile padding, or rubber or polyurethane foam, forming squares or any type of design, shape or size; (b) decorating the impregnated material on one or both faces with material of selected appearance; (c) subjecting the laminate to pressure to promote contact of the adhesive with all materials; (d) applying sufficient heat during compression to produce bonding of materials in the impregnated zones, the temps. depending on the adhesive and its polymerisation time.</p> |
