PURPOSE:To allow a small sized central supervisory device to troubleshoot easily a faulty location of a main line by arranging collected fault information in the prescribed order and retrieving the faulty information in opposite direction to the signal flow. CONSTITUTION:The fault information is rearranged in the order corresponding to the signal flow in the main line 11 in repeater supervisory devices 5-8, and the generated fault information is all preserved until a transfer request comes from a central supervisory device 9. Then the device 9 makes request of the transfer of the fault information in order from the lower stream of the signal from to the supervisory devices 5-8 of terminal station devices 4-1. In such a case, when no fault takes place in each fault information, the device 9 neglects it and when a fault exists, it is stored in a memory as the highest priority fault information. As a result, when the retrieval is finished up to the device 1, the fault information in the memory is the fault information of the uppermost flow on the main line 11 and the fault information is specified as the highest priority fault information. |
