PURPOSE:To enable a sheetlike original to be lighted without causing any disturbance in its images by constituting a guide member of a transparent material and reflecting the light transmitted therethrough approximately to the sheetlike original lighting region by the reflection member provided behind the guide member. CONSTITUTION:A transparent paper guide 2' is provided in the position away about 1mm. from the top surface of an original table galss 1, and a reflection member 10 is provided behind the same. The reflection surface of the member 10 is constituted in the region off the depth of focus of a projecting lens, that is in the position away about >=3mm. from the top surface of the glass 1. Therefore, the luminance of the pattern of the shadow of a sheet original 6 formed on the reflection surface lowers because the shadow itself becomes wide and since it is off the depth of focus of the projecting lens, the effect thereof is extremely small when imaged on a photoreceptor, whereby the copied images of good quality are obtained. |
