The assembly, for use in a micro-wave oven, consists of a bag of conventional self-supporting type, with a rectangular flat bottom panel, front and back rectangular panels and side connecting panels folded inwards, the bag contg. ingredients e.g. maize grains, fat and salt. The bag is made from a single sheet of kraft paper treated with a commercially-available inhibitor of discolouration, and an interior layer of polyester film, e.g. polyethylene glycol terephthalate.
