Appts. comprises a water container within which the drum that contains the potatoes rotates. A brush projects into the drum. The drum is filled with sufficient water to cover the potatoes. As it rotates, the potatoes are peeled by the brush. The water is heated by the heating unit partly to facilitate peeling but also to cook the potatoes. Pref. there are several cold water supply devices to rapidly cool the potatoes after they are cooked. Pref. the "bristles" of the brush device are made of an elastic material so that they peel by pulling the skin from the potato rather than risk tearing it. |
