PURPOSE:To enable a uniform ink layer to be provided and facilitate production of a thin film type ink donor film, by a method wherein providing of an ink layer on a producing medium for an ink donor film, providing of a base film and separation of the ink donor film from the medium are continuously performed. CONSTITUTION:An ink is applied to a belt 1 by an ink roller 3 to provide an ink layer, and a film base agent is applied to the ink layer by a base roller 6 to provide a base film. The base film layer is further hardened by irradiation with rays by a lamp 7. Then, only a belt 1 is irradiation with rays by a lamp 7. Then, only a belt 1 is taken up by a take-up roller 8, whereas an ink donor film comprising the ink layer 11 and the base film layer 10 is taken up by a take-up roll 9. By this, a uniform ink layer and the base film layer can be easily provided, and the base layer can be provided as a thin film. |
