<p>PURPOSE:To give a map easily to a mobile robot which is controlled autonomously by using a distance list containing the distances among feature points and a connection lost containing the connecting directions of those feature points. CONSTITUTION:A mobile robot 30 is provided with wheels 31 and 32 and a steering/drive means 33. The means 33 receives data from a controller 35. The controller 35 supplies the data given from a memory means 38 storing a distance list 36 and a connection list 37 to a route searching means 40 together with the data given from an instructing means 39 for both start and target points. Thus a branch list 41 is produced. The data on the list 41 and the means 38 are processed by a robot control data producing means 42 for production of the robot control data 43.</p> |
