PURPOSE:To change automatically multiple kinds of metal dies by storing plural sets of the upper and lower dies into a stocker, by locating the necessary sets of the metal dies together with the holders by the control device and by taking them in and out of the press main body by the moving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The upper die 1 and lower die 2 having different shape with each other are held by the metal die holders 13a, 13b in the same size and stored in metal die storing parts 14a, 14b inside a metal die stocker 12. In changing the metal dies, the necessary upper and lower dies are located by the control device together with the metal die holders 13a, 13b so as to coincide with the metal die guide of a press brake and metal die holding member and this metal die is taken in and out of the press main body with the holder by using a metal die moving mechanism 31. The automatic change can therefore be performed in short time even in case of the shape of the upper die 1, lower die being different. |
