PURPOSE:To perform efficient and fully automatic grinding on hard material in machinability such as ceramics or the like and improve efficiency by providing a machining center with an attachable type high speed spindle, grindstone dresser, loading removal nozzle, and non-contact type grindstone diameter measuring device. CONSTITUTION:In grinding with a grindstone of a small diameter or the like, an attachable type high speed spindle 26 is required to be attached to a regular spindle 6 for performing high speed grinding. And a grindstone 9 is dressed with a dresser 27, and grindstone loading is cleared with a loading removal nozzle 19 discharging coolant fluid or the like containing abrasive grains. In addition, the outer diameter of the dressed grindstone 9 is measured with a grindstone diameter measuring device 30 using a non-contact measuring system, and the result is reinput automatically as a tool correction. And hard material in machinability such as ceramics or the like is ground automatically by the action of the piezoelectric element and acoustic emission 24 or the like provided to a work rest 22 improving efficiency remarkably. |
