PURPOSE:To feed empty bobbins to a machine frame even when the empty bobbin are absent, by rotating an empty bobbin impeller until the feeding of the empty bobbins to the final stage of an empty bobbin feeder is detected. CONSTITUTION:Plural cross-shaped empty bobbin feeding impellers 1 are placed to arrange zigzag, and a rotation angle detector is provided in a toothed pulley in the middle stage. An empty bobbin 14 is delivered to a space below the impeller 1 in the lowermost stage. When the feeding of the empty bobbin 14 to the space is detected by a sensor 11, e.g. reflection type photoelectric sensor, the rotation of a driving motor is stopped. |
