PURPOSE:To prevent pressure and temperature in a barrel tank from becoming high easily and securely without affecting the surroundings of a work place by discharging air out of said tank through a relief valve from a pipe in the tank whenever air pressure in the vacant part in said barrel tank becomes high. CONSTITUTION:When a centrifugal barrel polishing machine A is operated for a long time, the temperature of a mass M in a barrel tank 1 gradually rises due to friction. Following this, as the internal pressure in the vacant part 17 of the barrel tank 1 rises, air in the tank 1 passes through a cylindrical body 3 from the suction port 7a of a pipe 7, moves the valve 13 of a relief valve 12 rightward against the energizing force of a coil spring 14, and is discharged from a discharge port 16. Thus, the air pressure in the barrel tank can be prevented from rising, maintaining the air pressure always constant, and without polluting the surroundings of a work place while preventing any accident due to the jetting out of workpieces or abrasives. |
