PURPOSE:To surely carry out sliver ending in operation of a spinning machine by simple action, by leading sliver ends of a full bobbins to be exchanged with small package bobbins during spinning above trumpets, placing the sliver ends on slivers of small package bobbins and changing over the sliver bobbins. CONSTITUTION:The front row bobbin hangers 19 and the back row bobbin hangers 20 with respectively hung medium package bobbins (1b) and small package bobbins (1c) are changed by a sliver changing machine 10, and sliver ending is carried out to perform sliver exchange. The sliver ending is carried out by end picking of slivers of full bobbins (1a), holding sliver end and guiding the sliver ends above trumpets 6, placing the sliver ends on slivers of small package bobbins (1c) during spinning, releasing the holding of the sliver ends of the full bobbins (1a) and cutting the slivers of the small package bobbins (1c) at the same time. |
