PURPOSE:To efficiently remove a deposit on the inside part of a bend part by mixing an abrasive having different grain diameters in a compressed gaseous body which is made flow through a piping having said bend part. CONSTITUTION:When an abrasive contained in a compressed gaseous body coming in from the direction of the arrow 2 is of coarse grains, it is affected by a secondary flow caused by pressure difference between the outside part 6 and the inside part 3 of a bend part 1 as shown by the flow lines 5 with arrow marks, in the bend part 1, and the grains are gathered onto the inside part 3 when passing through the bend part 1 due to the flow along a pipe wall from the outside part 6 to the inside part 3, of the flow line 5. Therefore, the grains flow toward the inside part 3 along the inner surface of the pipe as shown by the arrow B, to remove a deposit 4 on the inside part 3. Although the momentum per grain of a fine-grain abrasive is small, a similar polishing effect to that of coarse grains can be obtained when it is mixed in large quantities. |
