<p>PURPOSE:To effectively adsorb and remove graphite particles included in exhaust gas from an automobile by providing a filter paper made of ceramic fiber in the path of the exhaust gas, and slowly winding the filter paper according to the running of the automobile. CONSTITUTION:Both sides in a casing 1 having an inlet 5 and an outlet 6 for exhaust gas on its upper and lower sides respectively are provided with filter paper winding shafts 3a, 3b respectively, and the both sides of its central position are also provided with plural guide rollers 4 respectively. A sheet of ceramic filter paper 2 is wound round each of the filter paper winding shafts 3a, 3b, and is wound in zigzags over each of the guide rollers 4 from either of the filter paper winding shafts 3a, 3b to the other, and then wound up without looseness. In this case, either of the filter paper winding shafts 3a, 3b is served as a driving shaft, and slowly rotated according to the running of an automobile to wind the filter paper 2. Thereby graphite particles included in the exhaust gas entering at the inlet 5 can be effectively adsorbed on the filter paper 2 arranged in multi-layer shape and filtered through it.</p> |
