PURPOSE:To simplify the operation for setting the spinnning condition, by setting the rotational speed of a sliver-delivery roller, the drafting ratio and the stop position of the sliver-delivery roller by controlling the revolution of a servo motor. CONSTITUTION:The sliver-delivery roller 20 is started simultaneous to the start of the traverse of the spindle carriage 23, and the revolution speed of the servo motor 10 is controlled by the signal transmitted from the encoder 5 to detect the rotational speed of the scroll 2in a manner to adjust the rotational speed of the roller 20 proportional to the traverse speed of the spindle carriage 23. The revolution of the roller 20 is continued until the signal emitted from the encoder 11 to detect the cumulative number of rotation of the motor 10 reaches the target cumuolative number of rotation of the roller 20 which is preset based on the drafting ratio. The transmission mechanism for the sliver-delivery roller can be simplified. |
