The object of the invention relates to the technical sector concerned with means for delivering predetermined lengths of webs wound onto a support or core. The apparatus is noteworthy in that the device, supporting the new roll R2 on stand-by, set up in the form of a flap 24 articulated to the lateral walls of the casing, is combined with a set of means which can pivot with respect to the baseplate of the casing and which are combined together in order to ensure either the retention of the said new roll or its automatic installation in bearing contact on the drum 3 having a non-slip surface and on the rotary cylinder (roller) 16, after automatic ejection of the almost-empty roll R1, with application of pressure, also automatically, to the new roll. <IMAGE> |
