摘要 PURPOSE:To obviate deterioration even after repeated uses by forming a surface layer into multi-layered constitution having a wear resistant layer on the outermost shell and antireflection layer in the inside and forming a photoreceptive layer in which the many non-parallel boundaries provided within the short range are arranged within the plane perpendicular to the layer thickness direction and are respectively smoothly continuous with each other. CONSTITUTION:This photoreceptive member has the photosensitive layer 102 and surface layer 103 on a base 101 having the very small and smooth rugged shape along the slopes of the ruggedness. The boundary face between the respective layers within the short range acts as a kind of slit and since a diffraction arises at said boundary, the interference in the respective layers apears as the product of the interference by the difference in the layer thickness and the interference by the diffraction of the inter-layer boundaries. The interference is the synthetic effect in the respective layers; therefore, the influence by the interference is additionally prevented with an increase in the number of the layers constituting the photosensitive layer. The surface layer 103 decreases the reflections of the incident holes on the free surface 104 of the photoreceptive member and increases the transmitting. Said layer contributes to the improvement of various characteristics including the moisture resistance, continuous repeated use characteristic, electrical withstand voltage characteristic, use environment characteristic, durability, etc. of the photosensitive member.
