PURPOSE:To facilitate the deflection level of flying ink particles by changing the ink pressure by a value corresponding to diviation level detected from the reference flying position of the charged ink particles. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet head 5 is vibrated while being fed with a pressure ink to regularly jet ink particles which are charged in an electric field 6 and charged particles thus formed are deflected in feflection electric fields 71 and 72. In an ink jet recorder of such a type, a diviation of the charged ink particles is detected from the reference to the ink pressure by a value previously corresponded to alter the diviation. Contactless charge detection electrodes 60 are preferably arranged above and below the deflected track of the ink particles up to the reference position to detect the diviation from a difference in the induction voltage therebetween. |
