PURPOSE:To lessen the twisting vibration by installing an additional mass, supported by an inertial ring, through a clutch and by altering the natural frequency of a crank damper through on-off operation of the clutch. CONSTITUTION:A tortional damper of rubber 3 has an inertia ring 5 installed through rubber 4, and is equipped with an additional mass 7 and mounted through a clutch 8. The clutch 8 is put on and off according to the revolving speed of a crank shaft, and inertia mass will become large when the engine speed is low and the natural frequency of crank shaft 2 become low when the engine speed is in low range. This accomplishes lessening of the twisting vibration of crank shaft. |
