PURPOSE:To ensure the sealing of a rocking type drive unit in which power transmission is carried out through a bulkhead fluid-tightly partitioning between a drive shaft side and a driven shaft side, by transmitting rotary motion from the drive shaft to the driven shaft through a precession mechanism which does not rotate. CONSTITUTION:In case that power transmission is carried out between a drive shaft 1 and a driven shaft 2 which are laid on the same axis O-O and which are respectively located in chambers A, B that are fluid-tightly partitioned by a bulkhead 3, a spherical bearing member 7 is journaled to the bulkhead 3 by means of a spherical member holding part 5 fitted into the inner peripheral surface of a piercing opening 4 in the bulkhead 3, and is integrally incorporated with a rocking shaft 8. Discs 9, 10 having conical surfaces 20, 21 are secured onto both ends of the rocking shaft 8, and are sealed between each of them and the bulkhead 3 with cylindrical bellows 15, 16. Meanwhile, shifters 24, 25 are slidably fitted onto the opposite ends of the shafts 24, 25, respectively, and cone rings 36, 37 are fitted onto the free ends of shafts 28, 29 each having the other end screwed in the shifter 24 or 25, the cone rings 36, 37 being made into contact with the above-mentioned discs 9, 10, respectively, for enabling power transmission. |
