The invention relates to a force-multiplying lever mechanism which is suitable for the conversion of linear piston movements (3) into a rotary movement by means of an eccentric (8) or a crankshaft (7). By virtue of the arrangement according to the invention, the conversion is produced by simple machine elements. A plurality of embodiments provide the user with the possibility of choosing the easiest and best type of embodiment. Particularly advantageous is the hydraulic stroke or compression adjustment, which can be combined and intercombined in various ways. The bearing locations in the mechanism are easy to combine in the form of rolling and sliding bearings. The latter possibility is easy to implement by virtue of the good central oil supply system. The device according to the invention is suitable, inter alia, for those piston machines, especially, which move the output shaft (7) or eccentric shaft in the same direction as the pistons (3) move. <IMAGE>
