PURPOSE:To correct precisely shape distortion of observed picture by setting an optimum position of a flying body and an attitude change model depending on the distribution state of standard points on ground in the observed picture. CONSTITUTION:Experimental information of an unknown parameter and its error covariance matrix and an orbit/attitude measuring data time series from an external terminal 28 are given to a parameter estimate device 31. A picture display 30 reads an observed picture near a ground standardpoint from a picture memory 33 and displays the result. The position of each ground standard point in the picture is inputted from a coordinate input device 29 while observing the display, it is sent to the device 31, and the position vector of the standardpoint and its error covariance matrix are inputted from a terminal 28 at the same time. The device 31 estimates the position of the flying body and the attitude parameter according to the prescribed processing procedure based on the input information. A distortion correction model calculator 32 uses the estimate parameter to form a distortion correction model. A resampling device reads sequentially the picture element data from the memory 33, applies the resampling processing according to the model to write sequentially the picture element data of the corrected picture on a magnetic tape 35. |
