AUTOMATIC FOCUS DETECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To decrease manufacture processes of a device and to reduce the cost by integrating the sum and difference signals between two kinds of signals outputted from a photodetecting means in two sequences by a single integration circuit on a time-division basis. CONSTITUTION:The two kinds of signals A and B outputted from photodetection parts 5A and 5B in two sequences are passed through detecting circuits 10a and 10b to generate the sum signal (A+B) by an adder circuit 18 and the difference signal (A-B) by a subtractor circuit 19. Then, a switching means 20 which outputs the sum signal (A+B) and difference signal (A-B) on a time-division basis is provided in front of the single integration circuit 21. Consequently, the sum signal and difference signal are integrated by the single integration circuit 21 of a two-sequence automatic focus detecting device to decrease manufacturing processes and reduce the cost.
