The mechanism for eliminating periodic torsional impacts comprises a double crank in which an additional coupler point is used to produce an output rotary motion with the aid of a so-called crank with a coupling link. The position of the coupler-point pin is chosen such that it assumes the speed value zero in an exactly defined position of the mechanism. In this position, torsional impacts occurring on the input inside cannot be transmitted to the output. <IMAGE>
