PURPOSE:To contrive to protect a compressor system, by a method wherein limits on the variation amount of motor speed are provided, and the motor speed is gradually changed within the limits, in a system wherein cooling and heating capability is controlled by operating a compressor motor at a variable speed. CONSTITUTION:In a refrigerating cycle constituted by connecting a compressor 11, a four-way valve 10, interior and exterior heat exchangers 5, 7 and the like, the motor 12 for driving the compressor 11 is connected to a commercial power source 13 through a forward converting part 14 and a reverse converting part 15. The reverse converting part 15 is provided so that a DC voltage obtained by the forward converting part 14 according to a driving signal fed from a driving controller 16 is converted into an AC pulse and is impressed on the motor 12. The controller 16 controls through a driving control system 4 according to an output from a detector 17 for air conditioning load or the like, and the control system 4 generates a control signal for making the motor speed coincide with a target value intermittently in accordance with the deviation of a minimum speed signal from a target speed signal based on the detected load. |
