PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic characteristics of an iron core for an electric apparatus by applying a magnetic field to the iron core at a prescribed temp. in a cooling stage when the iron core is annealed by induction heating. CONSTITUTION:An electrical iron sheet is blanked to form an iron core for an electric apparatus and the iron core is annealed by induction heating. At this time, a magnetic field having 100-200 Oe is applied to the iron core at the Curie point +50-550 deg.C in the cooling stage. The cooling in the magnetic field may be carried out by placing a magnetic field generator in the cooling zone. By this method, the magnetism of the iron core can be efficiently enhanced by about 10%. |
